From the default list view user can set countries as favorites , so the country will be always available at the top of your country list view 
Also, user can enable the "Bell" icon so that if any update happens to selected country user will get a notification to app notification panel.

Disadvantages:

  • Cant filter or sort data at map view.
  • Cant filter or sort data at list view.

  • All the most us full details are at a one place.
